CCPA
The California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by CPRA), giving California residents rights over their personal information.
CCPA grants California consumers the right to know what personal information a business collects, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing. It applies to most U.S. companies above moderate revenue or data thresholds. The "Service Provider" designation in CCPA limits how a vendor can use personal information received from a business customer; equivalent obligations appear in DPAs.
