HashiCorp Terraform

Terraform is the industry-standard infrastructure-as-code tool that enables teams to safely and predictably provision and manage infrastructure across any cloud provider. Using HashiCorp Configuration Language (HCL), teams define infrastructure in human-readable, version-controlled files.

With support for over 4,000 providers including AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and hundreds of SaaS platforms, Terraform provides a consistent workflow for multi-cloud and hybrid environments. Its plan-and-apply workflow shows proposed changes before execution.

HCP Terraform (formerly Terraform Cloud) adds collaboration features including remote state management, policy-as-code with Sentinel, private module registries, and team-based access controls. It integrates with VCS providers for GitOps workflows.
